I don't remember which Taake I heard recently but it was decent. I think I have their demo when they were called something else.

They were called "Thule" in the early 90s. They made OK demos. Nattestid and Doedskvad are my favourite albums, really good band. But that happening (showing swastika) in the concert in Germany was quite childish and dumb and after that excuses like, "we are not nazis you fucking jew untermensch" etc...not so clever guy eh eh.
Furze is just dumb for me. I can't stand this pseudo artistic appearence. PS: Furze means "Fart!" in german. |

Not everything, I think "Mark Of The Devil" sucks, sounded too much like the Devil Lee Rot solo stuff which isn´t that great |

yeah Pagan Rites are great norse styled black metal ....
seriously though i am a fan of some bands from Trondheim like Kaosritual and Morkekunst also from Norway
and the 1st LPs from Beatrik and Tenebrae In Perpetuum are brilliant. I second the guy who mentioned Vordr.
And finally I am a big fan of the demo put out bu Svartidauði from Iceland. |
