Here is trick question.

Can you find LP Storage at any store that isn't online order only?

I live in So Cali and I can't find one anywhere.

You can just go to Target or Wal Mart and look for plastic storage boxes, usually they have some that fit LPs well and don't have inclined sides. You may have to hunt a few stores but it's pretty much a guarantee you will find some in a store like that.

...I'm too lazy to order these boxes online and have to wait for them to arrive, mind you, unless I have to.

WOW! Surprised
You do realise it's the same exact waiting method as when you order Diehards and other music stuff ???
Yet physically heading to the actual store isn't much of an effort as a mouse click away?
Laughing !

Youd be able to pick up something similar to that plastic case at a cheap-shit store i reckon, just look around your local area for something roughly within that size range. I know bagsunlimited sell cardboard storage boxes.

Got a few of these Eurolite's for my collection.

Their a little more expensive than the plastic variety, but their tough, mobile, and lockable. I have an esky i use sometimes when i run out of space, works quite well.

I always wanted these type of LP storage boxes. The only ones i've physically seen are the ones that DJs use at clubs/parties,etc.
They look very pricey, yet extremely durable.

Thats exactly right, their "officially" DJ gear, but who cares right. If you got any dj stores around they'll probly have some. Down here i pay roughly $90 AUD for one, stores roughly 70-100 lps. It may sound like a lot, but so does the total for 100 lps.

Otherwise those plastic containers are very common, just got to make the effort mate.

Hm. I was recently at Target (I'm in CA too, btw) and didn't find any. Maybe I'll try a different Target or something and keep a better look-out for these.

I was at the store buying other stuff.
I probably didn't make myself clear... I just don't want to wait to get these storage boxes in the mail if I can get them at some store near by.

I can't get "die-hards" or any other records at Target. Laughing

Just go to the shellac supplies. That's the seize of 10" vinyl. And there you go for protective sleeves, 0,11 Euro a piece.

it's not. shellac platters have the same size of 10" vinyl. these are two different things regardless of that!

these are really what I would like to get too. its just that I always end up spending too much on records and then never have enough extra to think about where I'm going to store said records

Well if you have say 180 records, 3 of these will cut it I think. I recommend the kick plate, keeps it up off the floor if you have a spill or want to run the sweeper.

I use the large boxes that liquor bottles are shipped in. You can find extremely sturdy ones, tall enough for LPs, with one thick cardboard divider going lengthwise down the middle. Visit your local liquor stores and ask if they have any boxes you can have. Plus, what's more metal than storing records in boxes such as those?
