I really like Paul Chain and remember not liking this the one time I played it. I'll give it another spin. |

This isn't good. This EP is excellent IMO. The main song is somewhat depressive, and maybe easier to access than some other Paul Chain songs.
Since you can get this one for a cheap price, simply get it, along with the album Park of Reason, which you can get for damn cheap too. _________________

Depends what's your expectations, he's discography is very vast stylistically, he's very experimental on a lot of releases (experimental in a good way, IMO). Didn't heard that very single, but if you like that Italian doom darkness, I guess you just can't go wrong with most of Paul Chain releases. Only these newer releases under Paul Cat moniker I would suggest to avoid. _________________ in metal there is no law |

Agreed, that and the "Free Man" LP were great. Much better than the embarrassing shit he's been doing under the Death SS name the past several years. |

I like that band.
Ako ga uzmeš, a ne svidi ti se taj EP, možeš mi ga onda ostaviti za neki trejd u svakom slučaju... _________________ in metal there is no law |

I've never bothered getting the 7", Solitude Man is a great song though.
Is it very different to the Park Of Reason version? |

Digged out the PAUL CHAIN and found out I own 2 of his 7"
Here my 2 cents....
Solitude man 7"
Side A: Solitude Man: Quite entertaining doom/rock song. Not the best, but not bad.
Side B: 8 String sweep: Horribly boring piece of "music"
Sanctuary Heve 7"
Side A: Sanctuary Heve: Totally annoying song, didn´t even listened to the end
Side B: Continous fix: Very good instrumental with much Hammond and a bassline creating a 70´s horror movie atmosphere. This one took me by surprise...
I would trade Side B of the Solitude man 7" and Side A of the Sanctuary Heve 7" against something good, he !
No, I think I want to keep them. |
