It was mentioned in the Wimp Out thread and I don't see why.
For me personally, it was a fantastic record. Sure it had a few melodic tunes like Pagan Moon and Pimeyden Henki but it had a vision, and the vision was fulfilled. Some didn't like Demon Advance, but it was possibly my favorite off of the album. Very ritualistic, and I can imagine NHV coming up with this album in 1993, his spirit hasn't changed.
So, how do you feel about Beherit's return? |

Engram was a brilliant return to form, not in sound, but in concept and in quality. It is an album that only Nuclear Holocausto could have made. |

I think overall it was successful regardless of the heavy, blatant Bathory influence on songs such as "Destroyer of Thousand Worlds" and "All in Satan" (i.e., The Return......), the Blasphemy plagarism found in the chorus to "Suck My Blood", and the lackluster "Pimeyden Henki". _________________ "Order From Chaos, this band knows how to metal and they know how to satan and they most definitely know how to arghgh. It dosen't suck dick and thats why faggots don't like them. I have entered the stillbirth machine, I suggest you cum too." |

Good. Beherit's one of the greatest bands that ever was. Very few albums can match the mighty Oath of Black Blood & Drawing Down the Moon. Engram was a bit disapointing for this reason, but a good album nonetheless. And I agree with whoever said it's an album that could only be made by Holocausto. As Paul Ledney to Profanatica's works. _________________ hatred of their kind is the law

I mention him because Impaled Nazarene along with Blasphemy were allies with Beherit in the early days. |
