it was advertised well, sure, but lately when I was listening to it again I thought it was somehow overlooked by the mainstream deathers back then. but fuck, what a ripping monster of an album! one of the best morrisound productions done! and the riffs .... argh!

I have to mention Osculum Obscenum since everyone always seems to pick Penetralia over it... sure there are some great songs (Impotent God, God Is a Lie, Left To Rot), but in my opinion it doesn't even come close to the evil atmosphere of OO.
