Great album and sick atmosphere. I'm not really eager on the genre, but this is the best funeral doom I've heard in years.

Indeed. The last track in particular is insane.

Seems the LP got sold out from NH in very short time, and all the copies I got were sold in an instant.

Agreed. It's a very addicting song and hard to play just once even with its length.

Best Stabat Mater material to date and that is coming from someone who loved the reh Demo. I am way more into Mikko's PE stuff than his Metal but this album has 109 plays on my mp3 player since I ripped it about a month ago.

Bought my copy from Undercover Records in Germany and it's still in stock for 13 Euro.

This one was so bad I had to stop listening in the middle of the second song. Monotonous, boring and uninspired - no thanks.

I'm not a big fan of funeral doom, but I can't understand when people call this album monotonous? I think it reeks of original, primitive, ugly sound with all the "crackles and discordance" in there unmodified, and not-so-metronome drums. In addition there's epic moments of subtle synths and clear guitars, real climaxes of fast speed and even many minutes of clean vocals. And all this in less than 40 minutes.

I just can't find that monotonous.

I'm fine with Skepticism, Ras Algethi and a few others. Razz

I have the Church of the flagellation tape which is cool but I haven't been inspired enough to further investigate. A lot of the ultra extreme Doom bores the absolute ring-piece out of me... and I play in one!
