Just out of curiosity; How old are you guys (and girls?) ? When browsing this forum I get the feeling that I´m one of the youngest ( 29 years old) on this forum.
Whereas on some other forums (no need to mention names Very Happy ) I feel really old. But in here I feel like a novice.
And what was the record that sucked you into metal and the question that my mother asks; are you ever going to grow up?

Well I get the opposite feeling on this Forum.I feel everyone is pretty young comparitively speaking.I am 37 years and it seems that when you post a Topic of "older Metal" that I get few responses. For example when I posted a Topic on NWOBHM noone had any rare singles. They were all either very common or Phoenix Records bootleg shit.

I'll be 36 years in next may! My first musical experiences in metal were these: Metallica, Testament, Slayer, Pokolgép, Bathory, Tormentor, Stormwitch, Iron Maiden... Think of their actual albums or demos between 1985-87.

32, first contact with metal being Death SS 'Black Mass' lp and some Maiden ep. And yes I'm a grown up metal fan as I don't need to walk around dressed like a fucking homeless parasite nor babble about alcohol/Satan/elitarianism in order to feel cool.

I'm 16 (almost 17). I've been into metal since I was 11, and into the stuff that I listen to nowadays (traditional heavy metal, oldschool doom metal, black metal, oldschool death metal etc.) since I was 13 or 14. And I've been collecting vinyl for 2 years now I guess.
