All I'v heard from the newer Discharge catalog is the "Beginning Of The End" single. It's really good, I don't know how the rest of the new Discharge material sounds though.

Get Grave New World, and the think why fans bashed the band from the stage during liveconcerts.

I'd stick to dis-clones, they sound more discharge than discharge nowadays.

Word.

Great, classic, timeless Discharge ends in 1982 when Bones left the band. The last necessary records are the "Hear Nothing..." LP and "State Violence State Control" EP. After that, it's an acquired taste. I like some of the Pooch-era EPs like "The More I See", and I will even play "Grave New World" for laughs once in a while (NOT a good record at all, of course, this is pure comedy).

Anything they did after the mid 80s SUCKS big time. The s/t LP is a failed attempt at trying to sound like they did in 1982, but at least it has Cal singing. Rat singing for Discharge is so lame (he's still good with The Varukers though).

Do yourself a favor and check out some of the great Discharge-inspired bands like Avskum, Meanwhile, Disclose, Warcry, etc. There's many of them, and they're all far superior to anything Discharge has done in the past 25 years.

"WHY" = best record ever. I worship this album.

Yup. I thought Massacre Divine was worse though. I remember reading somewhere that was supposed to be a return to form for Discharge. No...

I LOVE 'Hear Nothing...'. Can anyone reccomend any decent Dis-Clone bands? I'm not a fan of Disclose. It just seemed weak compared to Discharge. Is there anything that even casts a shadow on that album?

Disclose are the gods, probably the best dis-worship band I've heard yet, and have a pretty extensive discography, I'm still trying to come across some of their material...then get Avskum, Framtid, Disrupt, Totalitar, Warvictims, Destroy, Decontrol, Besthoven, D-Clone, Tragedy, Battle of Disarm, Anti-cimex, Warcollapse, Confuse, Shitlickers...etc.

Grave New World and the Couple albums following it were terrible. Their self titled from a few years ago is okay, but nothing great, and a far cry from their classics between 1980-1983. I have not heard the disensitise album yet, but I believe it's more of what they were doing with the self-titled album.

Early Disfear is good.

Think about it this way: if later Discharge had been any good, we'd hear no end of it. Instead, it's never mentioned, along with Asphyx "God Cries" and Massacre "The Promise" for being musical AIDS.

Since "Grave new world" is such a hated album, why don't I ever see it for sale??

Disaster "War cry" 12" is highly recommended for this style.
