Just about all their stuff is bootlegged and he makes it very hard to get him to quit pressing them or pay the bands in any reasonable form. After dozens of emails spanning over 6 months I was able to get some resolution eventually though, so he will bow to pressure if you happen to be someone he is bootlegging. Be persistent.

What band are you in that he was bootlegging?

Weakling and Asunder. Also know Corrupted and Dystopia have had problems with this guy. He kept booting the shirts until many emails were sent repeatedly asking to quit, then he offered finally to make a deal if he was allowed to keep pressing them. I only took actions after learning that he is not just selling individual shirts to individual people, but selling bulk lots of shirts to stores for resale when I found them at a local store as well as several distro's online.

Eat Death is a nice guy, but he totally fucked up my order... wrong colors.....and also the post office pretty much lost my huge order of shirts in the mail, but then found it in some damp corner.... not that it was his fault, there was tracking.. but the order was wrong, half of the shirts graphics were totally off center, meaning I couldn't sell them (donated them to charity)

It was cheap though.

I've printed shirts through Punkstuff and they came out great, no problems.... and I have a few of their shirts that are probably 5-6 yrs old that I still wear.

oh yeah
the eat death shirts in question - they had my design on them, same as the punkstuff one...

but I also bought shirts from PS and they were all really good - probably 10 or so over the last 5 or 6 years

I too wondered about this site.
The price is right, not sure if the quality is.

I'll risk it and find out one day.

Can you just contact him asking for special designs? I don't see anywhere for hoodies...

Is the quality simmilar to Punkstuff?

Punkstuff prints are great I think, but the Fruit of the Loom TS version he uses on most of the ones fade really fast. The prints retained nice-ness though.

Hoodies get printed on the back from what I remember.

Some of the usual mistakes you'd expect with DIY home screenprinting (off-center, some double-image blur, bad curing), but not too bad. Haven't worn or washed them yet.

From Punkstuff - I've bought 5 or 6 shirts from him over at 6 years or so - maybe longer. Even including a Celtic Frost hooded sweatshirt that I've had for at least 4 or 5 years and it's fine. Every other t-shirt that I've bought from Punkstuff was perfectly good in every aspect such as print durability and placement.

I had him print me 60 shirts or so for with my own graphic on American Apparel, and every one came out great.

from Eat Death -

fucked up my colors - they printed with the wrong colors, many of the shirts weren't even 'cured'.

bad print - nearly half of the shirts had a print way off center, and I mean very noticeably off center. We're talking about 30 or so shirts...which means that they were garbage. The box was also lost in the mail by the post office, which wasn't his fault - but still added insult to injury.

Bottom line - Eat Death was cheap, not much cheaper than punk stuff - but the experience and quality was pretty bad and I would never order custom shirts from him again.

I think you should pay the extra and have Punkstuff print them. I appreciate a good bargain, but cutting corners and charging money for a shitty product is lame. I would have been embarrassed to have sold some of the shirts that Eat Death printed for me...

He's bootlegging OFC shirts, Chuck contacted him, and he sent us 25 shirts immediately to compensate after one email. Great design as well, nice and primitive!

Ofcourse he will, he is making shitloads of money from this business. 10$ cheap yeah, but costs maybe $3 to produce. You do the math.

Got a few things from him. The Godflesh design looks great as a hoodie, mostly because its such a simple design. The OFC shirt looks ok, but the incantation one loks like some sort of wierd blur!!! He did run off a Celtic Frost backpatch for me which turned out pretty nice too.
