Has someone head about these bands?

http://www.myspace.com/ritesofnecromancy
http://www.myspace.com/wasterswe

I think they are damn good,my favourites in the Stockholm/Uppsala area without a doubt, even better than many of the new Death Metal bands from the same area in my own opinion

Both of them are some cool fucking stuff, and to me it seems that the newest wave of some of those Swedish Extreme Metal Bands aren´t much inspired by Entombed & Co. anymore but by bands like Tormentor, Bathory and old Black/Thrash in general, cause they´re all comin along with this blackened dark metal ov death attitude, but at least thanks to Repugnant at first, when it comes to the deciding inspiration point, or what gave the movement new fuel, i think.

There really are a lot of great bands coming from Sweden again these days, although I am concerned that there will be a repeat of what happened before, as old school death metal becomes more popular there will be a huge flooding of the market and once again, hundreds of shit releases to weed through...

I remember both of those bands being bad, but I will give them a new chance some day. Occult stuff seems to be a trend among the new and young bands in Sweden. I'm not saying they're posers or anything, but most of the new bands from Sweden seem to have somekind of occult image. Maybe Watain has something to do with it?

One of the new bands you should be aware of is DEGIAL! Looking forward for their upcoming EP...! Total devastating death metal.

What is going on in Sweden that all these youngsters are into bands like Flames of Hell, Parabellum and so on? If you look at some of the people who left comments on necromancy you can see that they are probably not older than 20....

Well, all of the legendary bands that we adore were around that age when they immortalized their music onto listenable formats. I think it's great that "kids" (I say that because I'm 23 myself) are into the real stuff. Less time to try and identify with Lamb of God and that kind of bullshit.

Waster sounds like any of the other throngs of black/thrash bands out there today. Not bad, but very uninspired. Necromancy on the other hand, based on those samples are terrible.

Lots of great stuff in Sweden these days. It's been a long time coming. Too much crap for far too long - finally getting back to the point again. Been playing the Graveless demo a lot lately but the best ones remain Vanhelgd and Necrovation. We'll see if the demo bands step it up soon...

Rites of Necomancy sound pretty cool

But Eidomantum are already doing this, and "Fear the Master" will end up a classic for me.

Maybe RoN will be better with a more powerful recording and some tightening of the guitar riffs
