Ostra records is doing Dictius... last I read about it.

Are you sure about that? It's not mentioned on their website...

I confirm ! It's me who release "Dictius Te Necare" in vinyl !
...Currently at the pressing plant !

It will be out in the same time of a "Tribute to Dictius te Necare" CD with Ataraxie, Imindain, Magnum Occultum Innominandum (http://www.nwnprod.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1227)... etc

More information very soon... just wait & see !
I own a few Ostra records releases and they are great quality LPs.

The June frost DLP is amazing, same with the Ataraxie. Glad you finally got some USA Distribution too. Keep up the great work Jean-yves.

I would buy this in a heartbeat. This and Dictus are the two best imho, and the Ostra LP was great.

looks like they are already spoken for, Pat didn't mention who's doing them though.

I'm working on the masters at the minute, still waiting for some "missing" tracks from the band though.

I think a re-release of Dictius would be great - just don't let Bartsch ruin the masters like he has done on all the other re-issues.

Worship this album, this band, but don't care about vinyl (or formats) at all so won't buy.

I think if I were a kid and didn't grow up with buying CDs, I'd probably just download everything and never give physical formats a second thought. In the end it's all just dust collecting junk anyways.

I hear ya grandpa. I look at all of my stuff and think, "damn, I own a lot of shit."

No fucking kidding, and it becomes a worse nightmare when moving blooms on the horizon. A little Varging of the premises with some arson appeals more than packing and carrying a thousand LP's out of the basement Laughing

However I feel sorry for the lil bastards today not having a swell metal physical format collection to drink and spill over with friends pouring over inserts and lyrics, getting that fresh printed paper smell upon first opening... carrying a stack of LP's or more in my case (kinda missed the original LP days by a decade I think) a box of tapes to a friends and playing the fuck outta them.
Spreading out J cards and scrutinizing every little tiny detail, winding tapes back with a BIC pen, rewinding and fast forwarding the same song over and over.
There are some things these little bastards will never appreaciate to music besides that music Laughing

I'd rather see Thy Pale Dominion getting a vinyl press, as a 10" or 12". Those are their two best tracks, for my money.
