I personally love this album, and have been considering putting out a proper vinyl release of it, but not sure there would be enough interest. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I remember ordering from you guys in the 1990s. Very professional.

I say put out the Bethlehem release. Maybe partner with Red Stream, who seemed to also have an interest in this band.

Did the Dark Symphonies distro go away, or just shrink radically?

I don't think it is rare enough to sell them for $30 each. The first pressing is relatively easy to get.

We sold off the distro items until we were 0 stock and evolved into the Crypt. Talked with Red Stream, still thinking about it

Good point, I was considering that as well. Thank you. I still have an Excruciate Die Hard reserved for you.

Glad you're still carrying on. If you're talking to Red Stream, how about some Skepticism vinyl releases? Band fucking rules.

Yeah they do, I hadn't thought of that. Good Idea, but I need to slow down, I'm getting ahead of myself Wink

Even though I lost the interest in Bethlehem after "Dark Metal" I still cherish the debut for its totally bleak atmosphere. Unfortunately I only own a copy without cover I got from Matton back then since all his remaining copies' cover sleeves were destroyed by a major water damage. Never made it to replace it with a complete copy. So I'm all on fire for an idea of a re-issue. Honestly the Solid Records/Selbstmord Services looks rather carelessly thrown together anyway and you really did an awesome job with Excruciate. Not into Excruciate, but I've seen it at a friend and that's the way to go for an appropriate vinyl appearance for hell's damn wide open sure.

Thank you, that's how I felt too about the LP version, but even If we release a nice version, the trick is still moving 300 copies of it. There is a definite risk factor.

The other thing too is that the album alone is 52 minutes not counting the bonus "Thy Pale Dominion" tracks all crammed onto 1 LP, which sounds over compressed based on that cramming of music, but if the album were to be split into 2 LPs, the sound would be rich and warm like on the Master's Hammer that Yosuke did. I own the Osmose version of the LP and Yosuke's sound way better than the original 90's LPs.
