My theory is that Mexico is inspecting the hell out of parcels due to health scares, but we'll have to see what happens I guess.

Once the package reaches the Mexican border, transport is done entirely by mariachi band. That's why it's slow.

Thanks so much. For future releases I will mark all copies as gift and no more than $20 value. Will that dodge any customs fees?

dunno. big parcels like records are never custom fees free. 20% of the value + 5,50 euros of "custom handling costs" are almost always mandatory

and you cannot put 0$ as value! if you do so the officers can open the package and give a random value of the goods

Ok so no matter what I do, it's still a 50/50 chance then, but I could still lessen the odds but putting a lower value and declaring a gift?

yes of course. it depends on the lazyness of the customs worker, if he's lazy enuff I can get the records fees free Laughing

Really great release, but slightly bent corners and XL shirts suck...

Nevermind though, it's about the music and that's what counts!!

I packed the crap out of the LPs, how did the corners get bent? Was the box smashed?? Please PM me about this. Also, from now on, all shirt sixes will be available.

I also get a very little "damage" caused probably by the pressure of the record towards the jacket but it really doesn't matter

Well the Purtenance will be 2 LPs in a slipcase so nothing like this should happen, but for future regular LPs I'm not sure what else I can as as I did package the LPs outside the sleeves. Any ideas?
