Packaging looks great, I am kind of confused on doing something like this for a mixed bag collection of covers though. I'd be more likely to get the 7"s of the bands/songs I like rather than a pricey cd of the whole shebang. Oh well, looks interesting at least.

haven't heard the music, so i can't say anything about that. there are good bands on the compilation and all of the last blinddate releases were great, so i don't think this will turn out that bad.

don't know how old you are, but back when internet didn't exist i used to buy records just because theit artwork, flyers or mailorder descriptions looked cool

1. exactly ... my words.
2. I remember and I agree. Have bought records since 1991 and only because of very simple descriptions and cool covers! And to 90% I was right and the records good music. thats it!

that is right, too. but nevertheless I would have bought that collection of cover songs also if they were released as a normal LP-edition. I usually do not support this die-hard thing too much and yes, if the musick is garbage the packaging doesn't make it better or more valuable. but I trust in the taste of blinddate.
