Was just thinking of 2 bands right now, Spearhead and Scythian.

It seems like Spearhead had some attention awhile back but it seems to have fizzled out, same with Scythian. Anyway I think these 2 Brit bands rule.

Any fans here and also, anything else coming out of Britain recently?

Spearhead did indeed seem to get a fair bit of attention, and rightly so as their second album is a real corker.

I still think Adorior's second album Author of Incest is excellent.

Anything else along that level of quality from the country I'd be interested in hearing.

Sacrilege - Behind the realms of madness and Deathwish - At the edge of damnation

I know which two records will be first on the turntable tomorrow morning!

Would like to hear the early faster Sacrilege materials, I have turn back trilobite Lp which I think is boring, I like doom metal but that Lp is just dull.

That early Sacrilege shit is incredible, some of the BEST female fronted metal ever.... I haven't heard "trilobyte" but "Behind the Realms of Madness" is a total classic of crusty thrash.

Scythian is one of the best death metal bands to emerge in the last couple of years.

Craven Idol (featuring main Scythian member Miika) is another band to watch out for. You can purchase the debut CI demo through here: www.starlighttemplesociety.com

Needless to say, England has one of the most neglected black/death metal scenes along with Germany.

Hell

If not underrated, then under-promoted.
