How is the quality on Areadeath stuff? It looks decent, but China is associated with poor quality in the minds of many. Also, do all releases have lyrics in chinese or was it just the Thanatos and Negură Bunget discs?

i have all of their releases, they are decent at least (better than some us/eu labels actually). some wrong spellings from time to time but nothing major imo, that insanity digibook they did a while ago is top notch. and yeah they usually come with chinese lyrics sheet...

and actually the quality of chinese releases are usually not that bad, the ink chinese factories use stink but that's pretty much it. just beware of bootlegs, but as the whole downloading thing comes alone no one does them in china anymore as they doesnt sell...

This and the demos are the best. The demos could've come from South America. I heard Hells Headbangers is doing the demos boxset now.

areadeath productions is doing the cd box, should be out this month or so, not sure about the vinyl...

Getting those demos in SOME kind of format, vinyl or CD, would be awesome. As far as the demos go, all I have is the Death Metal From the Grave compilation, which is just a taster as it doesn't include the full demos.

I love the '86-'96 material the most, but the later stuff isn't bad either.

A new Deceased record would be very welcome. Personally, Fearless Undead Machines is my favorite Deceased of all time. It's utterly epic, still a bit lo-fi at times, and the riffs are just unbeatable.

I did as I promised, checked some of the later stuff I don't have and immediately ended up ordering Fearless Undead Machines and As The Weird Travel On. Seriously;

Just got a copy of As the Weird Travel On; Great stuff; I have no idea why I waited so long to get something from them.

Back in the snail mail days King would send me demos of fearless,
different live shows and Oct 31'st demos.
He always wrote back and sent free shit in the mail
He is an underground legend. Blueprints
for madness is my favorite.
I need to unearth those demos sometime.

BPFM is truly cuckoo. I like "As the weird travel On" as well - very melodic and more controlled songs than the early insanity.

review of their first one :

Don Pedro's is in the half gentrified part of Bushwick. There's plenty of college students out there, but the majority of the neighborhood is Latin and a little economically depressed. Just don't be an idiot and watch yr back when yer wasted and walking to the train.

My favorite is Blueprints for madness. That is a batshit crazy record;
fucked up riffs, weird production and perfect artwork to compliment the record.
Fearless is epic and stays true to the concept of the title.
Luck of the Corpse is great oldschool death metal.
The rest of the discography is amazing as well.
My favorite band of all time.

I love Deceased. They are one of my favorite bands. Fearless Undead Machines happens to be my favorite album but I listen to Supernatural Addiction quite a bit too.

I'm looking forward to a new release. Deceased remains one of the few bands that I can count on to deliver the goods every time.

I got the Fearless Undead Machines 2CD reissue yesterday.
Shit's good!
I've also got their splits with Crucified Mortals and Sacrificial Blood coming.

Definitely stoked for this new album.
King said it should be out around Halloween!

Been listening to Luck of the Corpse, the demos and As The Weird Travel on pretty damn consistently for about a week now. So good. I've always loved this band, and they were one of the first death metal bands I ever got into.
