About 2 weeks ago, Demonic Christ - Demonic Battle Metal CD

The main store here has a big enough Metal Section and you can also sell your stuff to them, which of course means that you can pick up cheap second hand gems from time to time.

There is a record store in Edmonton called Octopus Ink. I bought a BATHORY : Blood Fire Death LP there a little while ago. Due to considerable time spent mostly aquiring albums via the internet and the various distro's like Ajna, NWN, or HHR I never bothered to check the LP for wear and tear, since I guess I kinda was used to getting new stuff for the most part.
Well, I ended up buying a worn record with a good degree of surface marking on it.

I don't miss stores at all. I'm fine with the online system.

Last week, it is a second hand store which sells a few select new releases as well.
I buy all my protective sleeves there. Browsing through the cd and lp section often brought great gems, from Demigod on cd years ago to Détente on vinyl in good enough condition last year or two Sol Invictus cds for a very decent price recently.

Guess I will pick up the four Renaissance vinyls I saw there next time. Wink

Two months ago. "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Unfortunately there is only one vinyl shop nearby and it rarely sells metal-albums. :/

I got lucky last week. Went out in search of the Absu DLP and saw it at the front of the stack, in the first record store I walked into. Had my name all over it!
