Probably doesn't want a vinyl version to compete with sales of his cd version.

Can't imagine a limited vinyl run would cannibalize the CD sales, although it could slow it down.

I cross my fingers that the next one is the long-time ago announced Corpse Molestation release.

Keep in mind NECROHARMONIC released old school Death metal when no one gave a fuck about the style at all... When he did it, there wasn't the current retro "trend" at all and it wasn't easy to sell this kind of items (Contrary to 2009... Now old school is quite "bankable").
So if he likes newer "trendy" styles and wants to release it, fine for him...

If things keep on evolving the way it does, old school will become more trendy than anything...

Never heard of that. I ordered the CD right after its release. The inferior sound quality of some of the demos doesn't sound to me as being a matter of pressing faults though...

There's a definite difference. I picked up the re-pressing and it's a lot better sounding. I think the explanation is weird though, and agree with you that it doesn't really sound like a pressing problem. It's more like they had the wrong masters somehow.

Personally I'm also really anticipating the Interment and Exhumed/Mastication releases. Last I heard (from Daryl I think?) Interment was going to be out around the end of the year, but I don't know anything about the other one.

I must have the repress. A lot of hiss on The Exordium though Wrath from the Unknown is ok, nothing special but ok. All the demos sound like dubs though.
