Some of you here showed interest in helping book some dates this June.

We have hit a snag with the West coast (Texas and Mexico are taken care of).

We need help with the following places:

-Arizona Somewhere
-LA
-SF
-A Third place in California worth playing
-Oregon Somewhere
-Washington Somewhere

We are considering just playing the three dates in Arizona and California and ending in SF, but it is all up to discuss.

Anyway, the tour us Father Befouled and Prosanctus Inferi, for the end of June. PM or email me for the dates we need and all applicable info.

I would greatly appreciate everyone who can help us book this shit.

Hey man, I think someone hacked your Myspace account. I keep getting multiple bulletins of the same thing withint 20 minutes of each other.

Nope, we have a bot sending them out. It is two bulletins an hour, for 10 hours at a time.

We do it that way for a couple of reasons - mainly, lets say you have upwards of 1,000 'Friends.' If we send out a single bulletin, it is going to be lost in their bulletin pages pretty quickly, thus people who may be interested in seeing it, will never see it.

The flipside, and con to that, that someone with fewer friends; their bulletin inbox is going to be nothing but our bulletins over and over. On my personal page, I only have like 130 friends or so, so my bulletin page is all FB bulletins right now. But on the FB page, we have 1100 friends, so the 20 bulletins from the last 10 hours are pretty well spread out.

I know that is really in-depth, sorry.

Sorry for flooding people's shit, but I only do it when we have things coming up.
I have no problem with a band sending out multiple promotions, but when someone is constantly posting bulletins that are all "I'm bored, AIM me" I will quickly introduce them to my friend the delete button.

For Albuquerque, you should try the Compound:

thecompoundabq@yahoo.com

I know some of the people who run Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, so I could help book you there if you're interested. Keep in mind that the crowd in Santa Fe is mostly hipster/post-rock people... but on the plus side, they almost always come out to shows, so you'll probably have a crowd. As long as you don't mind that, it might be worth doing if you need to fill another date before or after ABQ.

UPDATE

Dallas - June 19th with Decrepitaph (Split 7" Release gig)

Houston - June 20th with IMPRECATION and Thornspawn

San Francisco - June 29th

As you can see, this is pretty spread out. We are still talking to people about an El Paso Show. The people at the place in Albuquerque (total Deathcore wigger slam club, by the looks) have not responded to my email, I have no contact in Arizona and still no word on help with the LA show.

Mexico is canceled.

I am trying to book this thing myself, which I have never done, and I seem to be failing miserably.

If Anyone can help get us a few shows (based on the dates at the top of this thread) in-between Houston, TX and San Francisco, CA - please PM me. I really do not care where, as long as 20 people who like metal show up and we can make some gas money.

IF we have to, we will play the two Texas dates, cancel SF and come home. This 'tour' is supposed to start in less than a month and a half and we have GOT to have time to promote, thus it needs to be booked asap.

I am doing all I know to do here.

Thanks to all.

If you didn't have luck at the Compound, the only other place I know in ABQ which regularly books metal bands is the Launchpad:
Booking@launchpadrocks.com

Frankly, there is no place I know of in ABQ or Santa Fe which is likely to cater to what you're playing; The Compound is about the only "metal" venue ABQ has anymore, and your assessment of it is pretty accurate (though to be fair, they do book some death metal shows, so you might try emailing again...)

Thanks, that wold have been cool.

Anyway - we (the band) made the decision tonight to just play a handful of shows in Texas and that is it. The proposed dates are too close now to try and properly promote, if we could get them booked.

We will get to the west coast sometime in 2010, if not sooner.

While in Dallas, we will be recording the tracks for our NWN 7" "Rotting Godless Throne."

Thanks to all who helped out.

Are you guys still trying for an El Paso show? I hope so... I'd drive to see that for sure, and I think there are a lot of death metal fans in El Paso & Juarez.

Wish you'd had more luck with booking, sorry I couldn't be of more help!
