One copy per customer... that's what it says on prohecy.de ... but since you're label, I think they will let you order few copies for "distribution" ... or not, can't predict, send e-mail and let us know  |

If you talk about Kunsthall: This is a Swiss based label. Means they also produce stuff with paying Swiss costs - and that is just insanely expensive.
Just a guess, but from what I know about PdH releases he really puts some effort in the whole packaging. Maybe this also explains the high price. |

I think he means Prophecy.de since they have a minimum amount of about 13 EUR to make an order. And the tape is 10 EUR so you are forced to order some shitty patch or something else uninteresting with it.

| Yeah referring to Prophecy of course. I understand the fairly high cost of the A5's because the packaging is more elaborate, but 11 euros for a *tape* (about £9) and the minimum order thing is a bit of a slap in the face really. I don't give two shits who it is or how cult their music is. Mind you I suppose that is a normal cost for a tape compared to the absurd prices for copies that will inevitably appear on discogs before too long! Its like they're literally screaming out "DOWNLOAD ME". Shooting themselves in the foot? Guess I'll just wait til the CD comes out. |

Prophecy also has all of the band's CD releases that are currently in print, and the current exchange rate actually makes them cheaper for me to buy them from there than from places in the US (slightly). So I ate the cost of the tape by saving a few bucks on each CD that I didn't have already and ended up getting free shipping for spending over 50 euros.

Stunning piece of work.
On the flip side though, I have no idea when the re-presses and LPs are going to be released. I would hope they would get it all in the work this year and release all of them together. If that is the case I will sell off my Das Tor MC as I much prefer vinyl. |

I have ordered from Prophecy on countless occasions in the past and have never had an issue. Their packing process is way beyond the necessary, and as I am in the UK, my postage is always free from them anyway, as I have never paid a penny postage regardless of amount of order.
Is 11 euros really a lot for Das Tor? Considering it is the only version of the release so far, and will have to factor in some of the offset loss on postage getting it to Prophecy in the first place. With the label offering free shipping the majority of the time, and reasonably priced clothing and LPs, I think you need to cut them some slack. |

Not necessarily. Only thing that irritated me was the gay minimum order amount on Prophecy.de. 10 EUR tape and has to be 12 to order so you have to take something extremely uninteresting crap with it to make the order. Like they would have wanted to unload their warehouse...
It was rather funny that they sent a single tape and a patch in a box that could have taken like 20 CD's.
