Great news, is it confirmed yet? I'm going for Pentagram. They could ave atleast put some descent bands for opening.

Found out about this a few days ago. I did not say anything because I checked PENTAGRAM's site to see whether this was confirmed or not, but did not find any info.
I picked up the LA Weekly yesterday though and found an ad for the House of Blues gig in Hollywood. Went on a few websites to see if the venues had those dates on the events calendar with PENTAGRAM on them and they do. Looks pretty much "confirmed" to me. Unless...

They need to come to the no-coast and play Denver. Unless they add more, I'll most likely be flying or driving to one of these.

Although, I heard the only original member is Bobby Liebling. Are the rest of the dudes from Clutch or something similar?

Current line-up:

Bobby Liebling - Vocals (1971-) (Bedemon, Shades of Darkness)
Russ Strahan - Guitars (2008-) (Black Mass (US), Blessed Vengeance, Ectoplasm, Fires of Gomorrah, Fog, Iconoclasm, Land of Doom, True Unholy Death)
Mark Amen - Bass (2008-)
Gary Isom - Drums (1995-1996, 2008-) (Iron Man, King Valley, Nitroseed, Spirit Caravan, The Hounds of Hasselvander, Unorthodox (US), Valkyrie, Wretched)

When was Bobby ever not the only original member? Ha. I know everyone has their favorite era, or "mark" of Pentagram. Of course the 70's stuff and the Deathrow era are by far the best. There is no doubt about that.

But Bobby is basically Pentagram and always will be.

All I know, is that when I saw them in NY, they were great. I know it would be cooler if Victor Griffin was with the band now, but they ruled nonetheless. He's a crazy christian now anyway.

It would be much cooler if they added some cooler Maryland stoner/doom heavyweights, such as WINO on guitar. Or I'm sorry, just at least some dudes from the 80s era Pentagram would be better than 2008 issued scabs.

I was lucky enough to catch the Baltimore show in March; Amazing. Killer setlist too. If I recall they played, in pseudo order:

Wheel Of Fortune/Forever My Queen/Walk in the Blue Light/New Track/Lazylady/All Your Sins/Earth Flight/Review Your Choices/New Track/Petrified/20 Buck Spin/Sign Of the Wolf & When the Screams Come (Encores)

Tickets already purchased for SF show. FUCKING PENTAGRAM!!! I'm pretty surprised to see them on the road. Hammers of Misfortune are opening along with Nachtmystium. Stoked to see Hammers again, but Nachtmystium... I don't know.
