Hammet's solos back then remind me of Mike from DESTRUCTION... or possibly the other way around Twisted Evil

Ride The Lightning was already a bit too stadium for me

I hate Master Of Puppets except the instrumental

A few good moments? Ride The Lightning fucking kills! But I guess it's humiliating
to admit that the first four albums are top notch, since they are not the
same band today, pretty typical.

I subtracted mate Wink RTL is fuciking great. MOP doesn't have the same staying power for me. I barely listen to it anymore. Justice was a pile of poo...

I actually like all the 4 first LP`s. Mostly for nostalgic reasons. I grew up with them. First band I truly liked.

I hate the cashmachine theyve become now, and wouldnt even bother to pay to go to a concert with them. Theyre just milking the cow. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I rather spend my money on music that is made by people passionate about the genre they represent.

first three LP's are classic, great stuff!!! "Justice" was very good but after that they keep polluting the scene with their retarded attitude and mega-retarded "music". A disgusting bunch of rockstar businessmen. Sucks Evil or Very Mad

I pretend Metallica vanished from the face of the earth right after putting out ...Justice. Works well for me. To me these first four records are untouchable in terms of nostalgia and the neverending ability to make me headbang like I am 8 years old hearing my first heavy riffs...

Total respect to that era.

EDIT: I also have to point out that Lars Ulrich is more obnoxious and annoying than any new album this band has put out... Laughing
