With the originally planned drawing as cover ? I once got a flyer with this and the cover looked ace. |
Saw it in Slayer #18. Looks awsome!
Jorn sorry for the offtopic, but what's going on with the Audiopain reissues? |
Audiopain were asking for extra time and I have enough other stuff to do so that's fine with me. We'll do those vinyls, but new release dates have to be set. _________________ www.soulsellerrecords.com |

Oh, and I've been wanting to use the original cover drawing which Mary Goore made (we're talking the old house with the trees right?) for the Lp or a shirt design, but for some reason he does not want to use it on any Repugnant stuff. _________________ www.soulsellerrecords.com |

I've never seen those drawings, any pics? _________________ TRIAL HEAVY METAL

I have them somewhere in my computer, but I guess it's useless to throw them online for the moment. On the other hand, I'm sure you can find it somewhere if you do some searching... _________________ www.soulsellerrecords.com |

Has anything happened with the Repugnant demos yet? This is my most anticipated release of the year... _________________

That was the originally planned cover for the Repugnant LP, taken from Slayer #18. I had an email-flyer from Soulseller with the colored version announcing the album, but deleted it somehow.
Couldn't find the colored version anywhere on the web. This coloured version looked awesome with the use of the dark blue colour of the sky and background.

That's a sweet cover. I wonder why they changed their minds? I'm not that crazy about the art they did use. _________________

Jorn, in the same add in Slayer #18 there was announced more stuff. Is there anything still ongoing here ? Some stuff sounds incredibly promising. I also remember a Bewitched 7" and a D'666 7".

I would like to see it in color as well, I bet that adds a lot. That design does seem to have an old, occult black metal feel to it though. I am not a huge fan of the cover that was used either, but it does somehow seem more..."Repugnant-esque" to me... _________________

| That cover is cool but I liked the one they used as well. Reminded of old Napalm Death covers a bit but in a death metal style, for better or worse. |

The cover they used is much, much better than that unreleased one. Like 20 Buck Spin said; some Napalm Death there but to a more macabre effect. Great obscure colour choice also. _________________ ok but who are you damn i have lot of orders

I actually like the back cover of the LP better than the front, hehe...
But I do like the Napalm Death comparisons, looking at "Scum" I can completely see what you guys are talking about. Maybe a little Misfits "Earth AD" in there too... _________________

I definitely see that Napalm Death grind/crust vibe, I just prefer more atmospheric art - pretty much always, but especially for death and black metal. _________________

| Yeah when it came out I was surprised to see this Napalm style cover, of course done in the death metal way. I liked the colors too. I still got both posters hanging in the garage. Yeah definitely has a Misfits vibe as well. |
