Now listening to the self titled ep I must say this may very well be their best release. So simplistic but so fucking perfect at the same time. My obsession with this band persists and persists.

I really really like this album (karnarium st), does anyone have anything to recomend in a similar vein? I know this is pretty original stuff, but I try nontheless.

Try their 7 inches; split with Bestial Mockery, "s/t" & "Deity of Opposites"...
Also if haven´t yet done so, then check out Slugathor! Great band. Especially their 2nd LP "Circle of Death"! And the next album is fucking crushing (out on Drakkar in the end of June!)...

Does anyone have the cd version of their album ?
I am willing to buy it but I've seen the magnificent vinyl version and
want to know if the cd is different.

Someone else has noticed that around min 4 of the 1st track there is some background noise like a scratch...?? something in between the sound of tapes that have been "bitten" by the player or when your vinyl has some dust/fur?

Coming back to the music is utter killer/dark stuff!!! I really like the first EP on Nuclear Abominations rec better than any other EP. Has anyone listened the last split on Nuclear Winter??

From what I know the scratch you're talking about is something the band wanted.

I might find their first EP for a few euros Cool

Their split on Nuclear Winter has only one song (Nihiliphobia).
There is also a song in the s/t album named Nihilophobia (The Pointlessness of Being).

This probably is a remix/different version.

I wrote to Blood Harvest about this and apparently it has nothing to do with the vinyl and is a sound the band wanted on the song for some reason. Weird but true.
It really does sound like a vinyl skip though.

It's obviously the sound of a whip, which corresponds to the lyrics and the title of the song, "Of Groove and Lust." For example: “Thy mounds I yearn to see, That thy plastic garment tightly veils,…and thy chasm, that drives me wild…ever so sweet for the goat in me. My intention is sticking out a mile: To evoke thy moist swelling!”

Haha, that's funny, it never occurred to me it might be a whip. My only excuse is bad hearing...

I emailed Blood Harvest about it too, That's what it is suppose to be, a whip. Someone should have realized that it sounded like shit though! It's very distracting.
