As much as I enjoyed the Necrovation album (and still do, its damn good!) I think the Karnarium album delivered a much stronger variation on that particular sound. I'm in agreement that this album put them right up there with Dead Congregation and Excoriate, it really is just about as good as you can get!

I'm not crazy about the instrumentals; they're much too straighforward and sedate, especially in comparison with the other material on the record. But it's a really strong release.

I don't know, I thought III (Hammer of Darkness) was the most interesting track on the whole album.

I love the instrumentals. These parts seem to be when the band really cuts away from the death metal norm and explores something really fucking twisted. I think the riffing is just genius. Damn, I have to go put this record on again. Twisted Evil

One thing I love about this album is the audible bass guitar. I'd like to see them make it sound a little filthier and use it to make passages sound darker or do some things with it to make the music that much more unique and odd.

And fuck, Tribulation is finally hitting me. I'm used to listening to more complex things instead of this fucking straight forward monster. There certainly are riffs out the fucking ass!

Glad that one connected with you. I love that band, and the album slays.

Finally checked out the new Karnarium yesterday. Great Scandanavian death. Blood Harvest is such a rad label!

I heard them on their Karnarium/Bestial Mockery - Hail Occult Masters split and quite frankly they sucked for me...I will have to check their album to see what's the fuzz about it!

New Funebrarum crushes this album, although I like them both.

This album is amazing. I'll be picking up the LP as soon as it's put up in the store.
