It's hard to grow out of incantation, everytime I play an album I always hear a new note that I've never heard on my previous play.

Here's some albums for me:

Reign In Blood
Legion / S/t
Altars Of Madness
In the Sign of Evil
Sentence Of Death
Goat
Pleasure to Kill
INRI

etc.

I grew out of them not because of time or "maturity" but more on playing them ALOT back then. I still listen to them from time to time but I cant finish the whole thing since I already memorized almost every note of every song.

Pantera, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Turisas I think are the main ones that I since thought were crap.

I like 80s hair metal Pantera though! Very Happy

Post by Björk is such an album that nowadays I play it inside my head without touching the cd because of very intense listening in the past.
When it comes to metal, some of the "gothic" bands (Sons Of Neverland etc.) have lost their appeal.
Has anyone managed to escape from Manowar?
