How many of you skip ahead to the marshalls and guitars when faced with an acoustic intro? As my listening time becomes more valuable, I fast foward to the meat of the song.
Name some you enjoy.
I dig Ulver's second LP, but that's all I can think of. |

I can't remember the name of the song (off of 'Been caught Buttering' album maybe?), but Pungent Stench did probably the most well incorporated acoustic part to one of their's that I think I've heard. As far as the other intros go, I tend to skip em'. |

Mefisto - Hunting High Die has a great intro, I've always loved it for some reason |

It depends on how well done it is, if an intro sets a decent mood ready for the onslaught of the metal stuff... then of course I'll listen to it. If it's just a load of rubbish noises slapped together for the sake of having another track on the tracklist, then I probably won't listen to it. |

I like them if they are well done !
But I find myself skipping away the whispering and acoustic intros of the DENIAL OF GOD Horrors of Satan album all the time... |
