I am looking for majestic music like Poledouris' score for Conan the Barbarian, Hattori's score for Fist of the North Star, Laibach's Macbeth, Orff's Carmina Burana, Mussorgsky's Night on the Bare Mountain, Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights, and Wagner's The Ride of the Valkyries. Music that inspires an atmosphere of power and triumphant victory.

Video game soundtrack but the OST of the God of War games have always been something that goes beyond it, it is way too professional for game music.

The OST for Heroes of Might and Magic III https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q43G9FTaomg - if that is not the best video game OST out there...

Thanks. The source is irrelevant, as long as the music is good.

You mean something like this?

This guy can get pretty masterful when he feels like it, but then maybe a third of his production is stupid uplifting happy and empowering football commercial trite. Some of his better material has an epic and almost militant approach.

Anything from martial industrial genre. Puissance is a good entry point for metal audience.

The problem I have with most martial industrial music is that the compositions rarely match the quality of the sound design. There are a few exceptions like Blood Axis (who sample classical pieces) and early Der Blutharsch, but the rest is pretty much bad synth-pop dressed up as something else.

I wouldn't call Triarii "synth pop" although could be a difference of opinions. Songs like "Europa", "Emperor of the Sun", "On Wings of Steel" have that heroic, epic feel.

Look for the LP Omsk Russian Folk Choir at fleemarkets. Red/brown/white-ish sleeve, released in USSR in the late 1960s. Really heroic and desperately life affirming Siberian audio magic. Always cheap.
