Voted Keepers but you picked the wrong Edguy and Gamma Ray albums.

No Sabaton? Every serious Power Metal poll must include Sabaton.

I went with the highest rated. Which ones would you have picked?

Somewhere Out in Space - first track is one of the best metal songs of all time.

Edguy for me would be Theater of Salvation.

Correct pick for Bling Guardian, what a monster of an album, might've been my second choice.

Avantasia's first is great too.

Man, I've been on a power metal binge lately, so I'm loving the discussion around it on this board lately.

Gamma Ray is a band I rarely have explored but checked this because of your comment. Great track.

Very surprised to see Rhapsody at the top this far. Would have preferred the debut among the alternatives, but Symphony... is amazing as well.

I got sick and tired of Keepers... long, long ago, which objectively IS the peak of this sound.

Love Nightfall but any other 90s release by BG is superior to my ears

Very surprised to see that there are Sabaton fans here at all, unless the joke flew completely over my head.

Definitely Rhapsody's "Symphony Of Enchanted Lands". It has that kinky, nerdy fantasy undertone, yet it doesn't sound amateur-ish, but it still manages to keep its musical integrity and complexity without sounding like a bunch of musicians who want to show-off. Definitely deserves the top position!

I'm starting to be thankful for mighty Frozen for reminding me bands I've never heard a single note from (and never plan). Wink

P.S. Theoretically early RW should be ok, but let me keep that as theory. Laughing
