I've seen a FUNEBRE "children of the scorn" CD at the 2nd hand shop today.
Any good ?
I won't let it rot in the shop anyway, I guess someone would be interested in trading it at some point. |

Good album, go and get it. Demos and 7" are better though. |

Yeah I have a vinyl version of this and it's pretty cool. Don't play it a lot but always like it when it gets a spin... Wouldn't pay much for it, but def worth having. _________________ Ashes to ashes

I'd be up for a trade for the 12", my list is on here somewhere!
It's definetly worth picking up, not quite up with the best Finnish bands of the era (Demigod, Abhorrence, Convulse) but definetly a good one still! I think it was slightly let down by the thin sound, but the songs are killer, especially the opening track! |

i didnt like that LP. earlyer shit was way better. the mix of that LP was pretty bad.some songs were louder than others.also songs seemed like they got no begin nor ending. no real structure and/or idea. |

Yeah not essential I'd say, there's plenty of better stuff from that era. _________________ Alone Wankyng |

It's good, but the guitar sound is really thin. Just look at who produced it, though. _________________ "Euphoria, shut the fuck up! I know that was you, I ain't even gotta look! I should send your ass back to Crenshaw Pete with his hot ass coat hangers, bitch! Would you like that?" |

The 2nd demo is really the most worth time. The first one is to me actually really badly mixed, and the songs tend to go for longer than what they should. The 2nd demo is really, really morbid, sounds kinda like autopsy with a lover set of strings and evil vomit vocals. The full lenght has only 1 song from the demos. I think that the other songs are not really evil sounding much. But it's a good album. Does anybody else have a vinyl that is pressed wrong? The first song seems to clip out before it ends. |

I do not like Children of the Scorn at all. Didn't get any sort of feelings from it one way or the other... |
