Coming August 31st, "The Spectre of Lonely Souls" will be the second full-length from Chilean thrashers HELLISH. This is high-velocity, almost out of control thrash with a fog of evil hanging around it, as patented and perfected by South Americans going back to the mid-80s. Fans of their labelmates RIPPER should find plenty to love here. "The Spectre of Lonely Souls" is planned as a CD and digital release for now.
The first preview track, "The Walker of Shadows," is streaming here:

Sick tune. Total 80's sound. Cover art is really cool too, definitely not the usual thrash fare. _________________ My sale thread (Shirts/patches, etc)

I usually don't - try Matt at Dark Descent. He'll have copies for trade as soon as they're back from press. _________________ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com |

Love that cover art and the one song I heard is tasty. When comes the vinyl? |

No immediate plans, but if the CD does well I'll consider it! There's going to be a tape edition out of Chile also. _________________ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com |

Here's the first (non-intro) track from Hellish's new album - go check out "The Night," as well as Invisible Oranges' thorough write-up of the album and its influences. "[F]urious and forceful rhythms like a Bavarian beer hall kicked into overdrive, dive-bomb guitar solos, and hoarse reverb-echoed yelps from Claudio Miranda who goes by the nom-de-metal Necromancer because, of course."

"The Spectre of Lonely Souls" is streaming in full today - just head to our Bandcamp page to hear:
https://unspeakableaxerecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-spectre-of-lonely-souls
CDs begin shipping this weekend. The album is getting great reviews so far, too:
"An evil sounding record, it really appeals to the darker, more sinister side of the soul as The Screams Come from Inside, The Curse Upon Us, The Walker of Shadows and Sacrifice roar with untamed malice."
- GBHBL.com
"On The Spectre of Lonely Souls, Hellish pays uncompromising homage to the bands which inspired them. In doing so, they made an album that can be played alongside those classics and more than hold its own."
- Invisible Oranges
"It might have taken six years to accumulate material for their debut full-length in 2016 but Hellish are striking still-hot iron two years later on follow up 'The Spectre of Lonely Souls'. A release that sees the band finally arriving as a world class thrash entity."
- Grizzly Butts
"It is difficult to be critical of Hellish because they succeed at everything they set out to do... Ultimately, Hellish has crafted a delightfully haunting effort that should appeal to thrash and black metal fans alike!"
