New: (edited - I like this colored version a little better than plain b&w)

Thanks man - it honestly means a lot to have a great artist like something I drew. Very inspirational... sniffle (Insert more crybaby shit here)

Another new piece.

This is a colorized version - not sure which I like better. The color has a little more depth to it but the B&W is maybe more occult-feeling or something.

the very first art is perfect. the one with the green monster is great too but a bit comic-like to me.

As it was intended - I love the old horror comics! They're clearly not for everybody though, it's not a very serious art form.

I'd be very interested to get some feedback on this pic. This was a test sketch that I intended to ink - then I started playing with coloring it as is, and here's how it turned out. I have a copy of my sketch so I could still ink it in a more normal fashion - but I kind of like this version, it has a weird grim effect because of the messy way I did it. What do you think - use this version, or redo it?

By the way, this is called "Lady Death's Perfumed Bosom." I wouldn't usually make a point of saying that, but I like that title. cause, y'know... death and tits. Very Happy

Great drawings, just needs some heavier inking I say. ...or try inverting etc etc.
I always like darker over lighter myself.

I am trying to force myself in that direction - I naturally tend to leave too much white space on my first (and second, and third...) pass at a drawing, plus I like to use pens with very small nib sizes usually. On top of that, my scanner for some reason likes to make everything 50% lighter than I drew it - I usually apply a color curve to a drawing twice just to get it to match how it looks on paper. But I think the main thing that would help is for me to sketch in more shadows before I ink, and start mixing in some fatter pens!

Now with more black:

I'm finding that my calling is caves and anything subterranean... it just sparks my imagination for some reason.
