OK this is a thread that the recent whining about very long albums made me want to open. How many black metal albums you can listen a day without getting bored or loosing the focus?Do you listen to them while doing other things or you just concentrate to the listening while doing nothing?Since I am an autist with zero social life sometime I was able to arrive at 15 albums in a day (count two demos as an album) of course doing absolutely nothing but lying in bed.Usually it is 9-10 albums each day.It is not a thread to show off,I am really curious about the bm fanbase habits regarding these aspects.

Well, lying in bed listening to 15 black metal albums a day is definitely not "showing off" lol Laughing . But in seriousness, if you're autistic you should seek some medical attention if you haven't already.

If we're talking black metal specifically, I don't know, like two or three? It's probably my least listened to on a daily basis out of the big three (thrash, black, death).

48-204 albums per day on average (NEVER less than 37.5 ever even on Easter) and I never loose focus on the grimmest riffs for a single second

If we're talking about serious listening sessions where you read the lyrics and stare at the artwork, I'd say only one, two albums at most. If it is about random listenings, I can pretty much take on hours and hours of material like old demo tapes or stuff which requires less attention, however I soon grow sick of it because at that point it is not music listening anymore but just background noise. When I reach that level, I have to cut out black/death metal from my listening routine for like two or three days.

A few.

Today, for example...

Solstafir - bli og anda
Behemoth - Messe Noire live LP
Denial of God - A Night in Transylvania (an EP)

Probably never more than 5, assuming the LPs are 40mins+.

I break this up wth other genres. Lord Wind on last night whilst working, for example.

I work 10+ hours a day. Most of which is me alone and accompanied by music. For my morning section I'll play the same 1-2 albums on repeat for hours. For my night shift I'll play 3-4 albums again on repeat. Most of it is BM broken up with some RAC or DEATH.

Lying in bed for 9 hours a day listening to 15 albums sounds like a chore. Even on my Saturdays which has become my drink a case of beer and play records day I still need to take breaks, work out, or do something.

1 hour 45 minutes max. That's two albums usually. Sometimes one album, one EP. Of course I keep stumbling on crap on the internet all the time so something's usually playing in some browser tap, usually in hopes of finding something good, but the investigative listening or browsing doesn't count.

I don't listen to any music, I'm just here for flipping records. Black Metal is for losers only.

It depends on how many gang weeds I can rise up and slonk in order to fully realize my 666420JOCKER69 form and become the ultimate church burning Operation Werwolf superhero who can be able to go on as to be more like to listen to at least 1599 le wall building DRUNPF cassettes per millisecond.
