Anyone have recommendations of which distros carry "cool" slipmats? HHR has a few, but that's all I could think of for now. I finally put together my 1979 Pioneer dream stereo and the turntable doesn't even have the rubber slipmat. Thank y'all in advance.

I found this website looking for custom slipmats. Havent ordered yet but the prices are really fair and they seem to have good opinions from customers.

I was looking for one until I came across the 'die-hard' edition of "the temple in the underworld" (Root). I don't know if you like that design, but I think it's beats a Venom one in the sense that it's not so cliche (most of the separately sold ones are of big bands as you must have found out).

Yes I saw that as well when I was searching. With that you can do anything you want, but that in itself made it less appealing cause it's not official merchandise.

P.s. you need an actual mat too. The felt ones are for scratching.

My Return of the Living Dead one came from Terror Threads. They do a lot of horror ones.

I have good experience with Glowtronics. Their custom cork slip mats are quality.

Felt slipmats are dumb IMO unless you're DJing. I have one of these.

Thanks everyone. Looks like it will be the IBP one. I wish the super limited Blood Duster one was available, but whatever.

I have used a couple of slipmats that I've acquired over the years (Master's Hammer diehard etc.), as they look pretty cool on the old turntable.
HHR were selling a Conqueror felt slipmat some years back, one of which I bought. In the chaos I left it stacked between a couple of posters (typical glossy type) and when I went to retrieve it some time later it had totally ruined the posters. Whatever chemicals were in the slipmat had seeped into the posters and left a corroded LP sized print on them. You could even see a reverse image of the Conqueror design. I'll never put records on slipmats after that.
