any other shows coming up in the area?

I might go to the In the Grip of Winter fest at the Baroeg, Rotterdam (http://baroeg.nl/programma/in-the-grip-of-winter-fest/), and I'll surely go to Netherlands Deathfest III at the 013.
The latter has a pretty crappy line-up, but I bought an early-bird ticket before the full line-up was announced.

be sure to see esoteric there, saw them in what... 2009 hell's pleasure, absolutely devastating.

btw did i miss anything with pentacle at EMM? i was watching haunted which was awesome, and endezzema which was yknow, aggressive enough

I'll check out Esoteric beforehand.

Well, Pentacle is by far my favorite band of all time, so no band will ever top their performance.

Black Witchery was the latest as far as I can remember.

Next one will be Inquisition/Septicflesh.
Really hoping that Inquisition plays first. I really don't want to suffer through the bullshit that is Septicflesh.

Last one: Gaahl's Wyrd + The Great Old Ones + Audn.

Went there to see TGOO, but I was not convinced by their sound, but Gaahl was outstanding. Great atmosphere and he sang professionaly for 90min. One of the best BM concerts I can recall.

Last show was Alcest months ago. It was in a tiny venue and a great show, Percees De Lumiere is amazing live.

Recently bought tickets to see Mayhem On their De Mysteriis... tour later this month. I was quite surprised to see they were making their way to NZ for this to be honest. It'll probably be my last chance to catch a show at The King's Arms, a classic Auckland venue, before they shut down to build more apartments to house chinamen.

Edit: It now turns out I'll be seeing Cigarettes After Sex tomorrow, then Mayhem comes later in the month.

Forgotten what the last was, despite only being a week ago. Brain is filled with contract law.

Gonna see Schammasch and Batushka later. Trepaneringsritualen opening. Probably looking forward to them more. Don't really get all of the love for Batushka and last time I saw them they weren't so great. I feel like I should enjoy them more, as I probably like bands they're from and I listen to Gregorian and Orthodox chant stuff quite a lot but eh.

I'm planning on seeing their show in my neck of the woods next week. Hoping Fetid can replicate the gurgling sounds of the demo live.

The whole band stands in place during the whole set. Only the vocalist guy moves around a bit to perform the theatrics stuff, but it's actually not too interesting.

Saw Bolzer and Mayhem on tuesday night, Bolzer weren't super interesting (subhuman soundman definitely didn't help) but they were tight and heavy. Mayhem were fucking excellent, I had grave doubts going in but they were tight as fuck and the atmosphere was perfect.

Hasn't been much out here but my last show was the Red River Family Festival last year, next show will probably be Destroyer 666 and that other band.
