Eh. Not bad but given these two I guess this album is gonna do as little for me as the previous two.

Still, at least they're fantastic live.

I think that#s jumping the gun a bit, it'll in all likelihood be sold through the official Metal Blade ebay account where the prices are comparable to those found at other Distros. Not too different form bands releasing exclusive NA and EU versions to be honest., only in this case the platform happens to be ebay, which i know is a bit off-putting. But i'd like to think it's the label's doing here.

Enjoying the post-punk elements sprinkled around in this new album. I can see it dividing people, but i think the best Primordial album since To the Nameless Dead a decayed ago. Hails!

Flawless discography, but I still don't know what to make of it, it's only understandable that they try something new, i mean they've milked their 'sound' to the fullest over their career.

First Primordial album that I've ever listened. I'm not really impressed.

This vocals get me tired very fast, i can't listen to more than 2 or 3 songs in a row. I mean, he has some good and catchy moments like "Where greater men have fallen" (track), but overall they are boring.

They are not a easy band to get into despite what their popularity might suggest. Lots of patience and repeated listening, atleast for me, To the nameless.. is probably their most accessible.

I've only heard four songs from the new one but I have enjoyed each one. The last couple of albums have threaded water a bit while having two or three strong songs buried in there too, but this one (so far) sounds more unified to me. Looking forward to picking it up and giving it some proper attention. There is a restraint and brooding intensity to the songs I've listened to that harks back to The Gathering Wilderness to my ear.

I received the vinyl 2 days ago and I'm today at my first listen of the record.
It will definitely need a few more, as it's pretty challenging, but at least I can say it gets back the feeling that Primordial's sound is evolving, one of the things I always liked from them but which the last 2 records were lacking of, making To the Nameless Dead seem unsurpassable (and still my favorite Primordial release, which is hard to say as they are one of my favorite bands). Alan's voice is once again just amazing ...

To be honest i wouldn't have bothered checking it out, had my friend not just given me an extra copy he got! i haven't heard them since Redemption ...( which I thought was quite boring and typical Primordial.

It's ok. I like the second track. As soon as I heard it, I thought " post-punk!"

But I found a lot of it quite unremarkable and not that different to their general 'sound', that they've most definitely developed over the years. The songs often seem needlessly repetitive. ( and they've always been repetitive, but usually with a purpose and feeling)
Alan's vocals are good still.
I really feel like a lot of their tracks are made to play specifically for a live audience...

Anyway, for the person who said this is the first Primordial they've heard, I'd say check out A Journey's End or To the nameless dead ( which is where I reckon they peaked )

Still, the same friend also got me a ticket for them later this month, and they are always good live.
