Shocked

Not quite sure if there's any chance to top or even equal "Salvation", but oh-boy, a new Funeral Mist is definitely my top nominee for the "anticipated releases for 2009?" thread here on board.

Ive just found this:

Quote:
The latest issue of Sweden Rock Magazine features a great interview with Arioch of Funeral Mist, revealing that Funeral Mist is releasing a new album in February. This is without a doubt the best thing that will happen to black metal in the year of 2009!
I actually learned about this at the night of the Watain gig - about two months ago - and I promised not to tell. It's been hard keeping that promise, but I did. Now, the arrival of Maranatha should soon be upon us. Blessed be the Lord God Almighty...

Taken from: http://nymoral.blogspot.com/2009/01/watain-uncut-funeral-mist-maranatha.html

Personally, this is now my most anticipated release of the year.

Same here !!!!! But I'm sure it will equal at least Salvation ... I mean there is a great potential in this band , after one album , he can't have nothing more to say !!!!!

Killer news !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus its been a fair few years since Salvation which should give time to let the music writing sessions mature etc. Im sure this will be a great record.

Definitely anticipating checking out this release later on in the month. Hopefully funds will be in favor to get one of the DLP versions.
