Thoughts? Haven't heard much people talk about this album but it has some serious Goatlord worship which I rarely hear all while not sounding like a clone and great riffs. Been on repeat since it came in the mail, vastly different from their demo Nights In Hell

Surprised the shit out of me when I heard all the Goatlord influence, and it was my first time hearing Worm.

I recently ordered it from nwn. Really looking forward to giving it a proper listen since I've just heard a song on youtube so far.

Their last release was pure black metal and almost sounded like LLN at times if you're into that kind of stuff but this record sounds like it has some old school finnish dm and even doomy passages in it as well as the early bm influences.

I got it from NWN too on their black friday discount sale. Hearing it on LP definitely does the album justice. It sounds like it was lost in time. Something to hear on multiple spins. I catch new stuff every time. This and the new Spectral Voice have been 2017 treasures for me. Still getting into the Perverted Ceremony stuff as well

Haven't heard the lp yet but the demo i have sounds nothing like any LLN band.

For some reason the vocals almost reminded me of early mutiilation, especially the title track if we are talking about their demo Nights In Hell. However this new album doesn't sound like a completely different band but I hear a lot of different inspirations. I personally like the direction of this new LP better

I was gonna say, Goatlord is a far stretch from LLN type bands.

Record sodomizes, strangles and then dumps all over everything in it's path, especially most of the other shit released in recent memory. As I was saying to a comrade recently, a lot of bands try to sound 'ugly' but this album actually pukes black blood up all over your face and then licks it off while you're still screaming from the caustic burns corroding your flesh.

One of my favorite albums of the past few years definitely.

I second this, I wonder if any early Autopsy influenced this. When speaking of 'Ugly' Mental Funeral comes to mind

Nothing but absolute support for Worm.

Past demos can be found here:

Everything they've done is stellar. Worth your time if you haven't checked them out yet.

Would also like to know. Thought these were gone long ago.
