Sounds good. I enjoyed the last album even though I still think III is superior. I think the artwork is the best art Aosoth have had so far.

Fuck! That is a good track.

Sounds good, though I'm not really liking it as much as the best tracks from IV or the Appendix tracks.

The sample from the split with Ritual Death sounded more promising, I think.

How is the track from the Ritual Death split? My copy arrived yesterday but it will be a while before I get to play it.

It's a great track. Both sides are actually.

Good to know looking forward to hearing both sides

the sample track sounds great, artwork is also good, looking forward

btw VI - De praestigiis angelorum has a flesh-made drummer.

The cover artist must be the same guy that Weapon was using before disbanding I think... the art looks very similar in construct and execution... maybe did some Nightbringer covers too (prior to the last two albums that is)

Very clean line art. I like it. Its not haunting as blended shadowy lines like many other painters would use but it is very precise and I like it... very detailed and talented artist.

As written on bandcamp, youtube and other sources informing about the new album, the artist is Benjamin Vierling. And yeah, he did artworks for the bands you mentioned.

Guess I would actually have to look at other websites besides this forum to have read that then. Thankfully the rest of you have facebooks and bookfaces and follow band camps and then bring that information back here. Thank you.

The track sounds good, but I'll wait to hear the full thing before buying anything. IV, most of their recent splits, and even their live prestation from last year (if I recall well) were disapointing as far as I'm concerned. Ashes of Angels, III, and their live prestation after III were perfect however.

Good new song but it will never beat the monumental "ritual marks of penitence" on their last album.

Few black metal songs ever will.

Been addicted to that first track. Still prefer that one, but this one does not disappoint. Highly anticipating this album. The production sounds so in-your-face on this. Sounds properly ominous and threatening.

Usually, Benjamin Vierling is a beast of an artist. But I cant help but smile at the silly smirk on the lady's face on the cover. Not Benjamin's greatest work, I say.

Still, the latest track sounds really good. I was not going to buy the LP based on the first track alone. Now I am.

Second track easily as good as the first. Seems like Aosoth have reached a new level with this upcoming record, if the rest of the album is as good as these two tracks its a very strong contender for the best BM album of this year...

Also, by the looks of it arrow in heart needs a re-print..
