metalcore and shoegaze, maybe i am on the wrong forum Very Happy

Sometimes I wonder what is the necessity to try to discuss about these genres on this forum. I'm sure there are more appropriate sites/forums for it.

Honestly though if I want to know something about a genre outside metal i'm going to want to ask it here, where I already respect the musical opinions of most people here and have similar tastes myself....

That's good news, they're playing here with Milk Music in a few weeks and I'm hyped.

Pinkyshinyultrablast from Saint Petersburg, Russia, has some good songs.

e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpmJf06VhWs

The same goes for Tribes of the City from Riga, Latvia.

Yes! Electric Soul Unity is such a great record. First two Weed records are amazing as well, couldn't get into their last one.

Did anyone mention The Jesus and Mary Chain yet? The singles leading up to the first album are all pretty intense noise drenched pop/psych (~shoegaze, right...?)
