It doesn't have to be "super grim" and serious, but to me this style doesn't convey the records content.

The band was very pleased with the artwork and layout so it seems to convey everything from their perspective. They requested something gore oriented line artwork. I think Putrid delivered exactly the old school death metal look that the band wanted.

Well, if the band are happy with it then fair enough. I'll buy this, I just personally don't like that kind of artwork, that is all.

Don't hate on Matt. He worships the kings like Berni Wrightson, Ed Repka, and Moyen. I personally love the Razorback covers he did. There really aren't other artists doing what he does, so it shouldn't be looked down upon because it isn't understood.

These aspects come along with metal- gore, sleaze, and yes....cheese. Razz

I love it!Definitely like the color scheme. Colored wax to compliment it would be nice too..I presume there'll be a diehard?

I do understand it, I just don't like it, regardless of who he worships or if it makes me un-kult.

I really like putrids art and I think it's suits Anatomia very well.
But I must say when it comes to the full length, I wish Yosuke would stick with the original picture rather than new Putrid art.

There's something creepy and unique about that picture.

reminds me of Flowers of Flesh and Blood.

I dislike the artwork used on the Anatomia full length so I'm definitely going to push to get it changed. I prefer the piece that the same artist did for Transgressor.

Transgressor demos and flexi on vinyl? It might be a good idea.

Now we're talking. Would be great if you make it happen since you're in contact with the Anatomia guys anyway, I'm totally down with that release.

I will ask one of these days. I don't have the resources to take on too much right now. Time is the limiting factor these days.

You mean their Morbid Brochus 7" ? I've never heard of a Flexi 7" from them.

That 7" is their best work in my opinion.

I believe the 7" is just demo material isn't it? They also did a split flexi with an exclusive song. What's on the split 7" with Impetigo?
