i just remembered i dug Rottenness (mex) 1st album a lot. and also Rotten flesh (bra) mcd. total grind/gore as opposed to their first 7" that was out on rottheness records and was more D/M, and also there was/is a really legendary grindcore band called ROT that i liked a lot especially "cruel face of life" ,"sociopathic behavour" and "A long cold stare" LPs

rot (rots 3rd person present) (rotting present participle) (rotted past tense & past participle )
1 verb When food, wood, or another substance rots, or when something rots it, it becomes softer and is gradually destroyed.

[quote="Kojiri"]Not really a fan of Mortician, but if you like Exhumed you'll like Impaled's earlier albums, as they're interchangeable.quote]

No way....Impaled has always been much better than Exhumed.

exhumed was more chaotic in their earlyer days. impaled i found a bit too sterile and way more necroticism - inspired. exhumed up untill goremetal had this thrashy edge that i liked. sorta like older sodom blended with Reek OxPx.

The first 3 Aborted albums (up to and including "Goremegeddon") are pretty good for this genre. I still pop those in here and there, although I have long since despised this kind of stuff after having a friend who was waaaayyy into it and it drove me nuts hearing it all the time.
