Finally a chance to see the classic Martin/Bob/Eric line-up (and probably Soulburn/Asphyx with Wannes) again.

Dutch Death Metal at its very best!

I've almost zero interest in Asphyx these days (bought last album just to complete my collection, not terrible but hardly listen to it) and I think Soulburn reunion is crap, but a special show with the right people in the right place (Bob and Eric with Asphyx, and Wannes with Soulburn) might be a good reason to travel to Germany to attend.

Definitely going to attend this gig. While Pentacle is enough reason to attend, seeing Wannes join Soulburn and Eric/Bob join Asphyx will be awesome!

If this show is going to feature former members of Asphyx, I wonder if Eric will play something from the s/t record with Ron Van Pol, would be very interesting.
Just like Dismember did with their anniversary gig, they took basically each former member for the set, from the demo era to the last record.

I believe they are trying / already did get Ron van Pol and other old members aboard for this one. Would have loved to hear a couple of Embrace the Death and God Cries songs with Theo Loomans, but we all know that this sadly is not gonna happen.

Bought my tickets the moment this was announced. Will be a night to remember

I would like to hear some stuff from Asphyx and Embrace the Death (they can skip God Cries), but I would really love to see Bob, Eric and Wannes play stuff from Feeding on Angels/On the Wings of Inferno together.

Have seen Asphyx at Turock a few times before (their release shows), might get a ticket for this one too.

hey guys what do you think about the remasters
i think remasters are awful
why did the wanna make the drums sound clear
and the guitar uses it spikey and dusty 80's plastic blackness
i thought the remasters were fine but boy did i get a load of facemelting awesomeness when i listened to it on spotify
my friend lent me his remastered CD of the last one on earth and while i am a huge fan of van drunen on the second pestilence album i must confess that the castration that they've done to those records is rediculous and in a word a sad folly

I believe that both The Rack and Last One on Earth were recently re-released on vinyl with the original mix. Fuck Spotify.

Some time ago, a second show was added for the day after, since the show on the 18th is sold out:
