Anybody heard this band?

http://www.myspace.com/maimdeathmetal

Their album either just came out, or is about to come out, on Soulseller Records. Pretty good stuff - in terms of style and energy there's a definite resemblance to Repugnant (Soulseller is totally playing up that angle too), although I don't think they're as good as that. They also remind me of Vanhelgd, which was one of my favorite CDs from 2008.

Also, the cover art for this is crude and disgusting in equal measure. Gotta love it.

Yeah, I checked them out when the Resurrected in Festering Slime compilation was originally out and liked what I heard. I hope someone in the US gets this. I need that Vanhelgd album too.

Maim are playing this Saturday in Stockholm together with Morbus Chron. If you're in the area...

Indeed, BASTARD PRIEST is best of the bunch I got from Blood Harvest, fucking aggressive take on the traditional NIHILIST formula.

If anyone got those BP shirts, do they run rather large or small? I'm usually size L and they have only S & M available...

I'd say go for M. I usually wear M, but wasn't sure 'bout the size as shirts tend to fit bigger these days. Long story, ordered two shirts to make sure and S fits perfectly.

Hey Steffen (Offensor from D.F.F.D. here), you wouldn't happen to have that extra M white shirt still available, do you?

Now HELL-o, Kari! Yeah, I still have the M-sized one. Put it one my trade list, but you can also buy it for the price the band charged. Just send me an e-mail right at red_death[at]web.de and we're gonna fix this.

*edit* It's the white shirt.

I agree, that Bastard Priest demo gets a lot of play from me. They have energy to spare.
