I need a ticket back to the days when concerts got picketed, rockstars wore contacts and LaVey's Hollywood-Satanism was all the hype. I'm looking for stuff like Ministry's The Mind Is A Terrible Thing... & Filth Pig, Manson's Antichrist Superstar, Revolting Cocks, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, 120 Days of Genitorture etc. The more kitsch the better. Bring it.

Rolling Eyes

Is this really necessary? User Frozen tries really hard to point out his shitty music taste.

Never heard 'em myself, but I'm told Peace Love & Pitbulls was a good "industrial rock" band.

His earlier bands - Ebba Grön & Imperiet - were certainly very good.

ETA: Here's a track - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3wsXD3R-pw. Not for me, I'm afraid, but there it is.

Early Pitch Shifter, before they were Pitchshifter. Has metal balls, so maybe not quite what you're looking for.

Industrial rock was my ticket to heavier music. I listened to a lot of Nine Inch Nails, White / Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, KMFDM, and Rammstein. I tried getting into other neue Deutsche harte bands, but only OOMPH! had material I liked.

I've tried going back to KMFDM Nine Inch Nails, and Rammstein, but they don't have the same magic as when I was 14. Not to say they're bad by any means, I just shifted my tastes.

When I think about it, it's a pretty hit-or-miss formula. Either a band has it "right" or they're completely off the mark. It's a lot different than extreme metal in that respect.

Holy shitballs! Shocked

I was never really a huge fan of this genre (aside from Ministry and RevCo, so apologies to the OP, as I don't have any good recs), and most definitely not a fan of the visual aesthetic, and so this...this photo is amazing to me. Those shoes!

I recognize the name, but I never got around to listening to them. The band was comprised of several musicians from the scene, right? Almost a "super group"?

PIG or Kovenant? PIG was the solo project of an early KMFDM member as far was I remember.
