Interment is supposed to do their demo compilation CD through a combination of Necroharmonic and Morbid Wrath, which is just full of fail - since Necroharmonic has their well-documented track record of taking years to do anything, and Morbid Wrath hasn't even looked at their own MySpace page (still their only web presence) in almost a year. Groan. At least Pulverised is handling Interment's full length - ah, Pulverised, a real label, who really release stuff.

The more I think about it, the better of an idea it sounds like for someone else to do that Crematory comp. Their demos were excellent.

On the plus side, it looks like the NIRVANA 2002 demo compilation is moving ahead. Now if only someone would talk about reissuing the GROTESQUE demos, and the INTERMENT and CREMATORY demo compilations would move along, then we'd be in business.

Hell yeah. I've been waiting on someone to do Abhoth, too - underrated band. Also Abhorrence (Fin). The guy from that band is supposedly handling a CD himself, but because he's not running a label and has other things going on, it may take years.

With Grotesque it would be great if someone would do a proper version of "In the Embrace of Evil," with everything they ever recorded on it, and in the proper sequence. That CD was fine and all, but it wasn't enough.

Agreed on all counts. It was annoying that they put the GROTESQUE out of its original order, and ABHOTH and ABHORRENCE CDs would be awesome. I would say an official TREBLINKA reissue would be nice, but that two-CD bootleg was so well done already that I'm not sure what more one could want.

My original idea with contacting Urban and those other dudes in Crematory, was to possibly try and re-issue all of their material in a double LP format on my own.

It'd be great to get another label that's more experienced than myself to help out and make this a well distributed awesome homage to these underrated Swedish legends.

Thanks for everyone's input though. I'll try to get a hold of Necroharmonic and see if that gets me anywhere....

Grotesque re-issues would be killer too!

Good luck... I emailed them thrice for sending the wrong tray card to my AUTOPSY CD and never got a reply. My Ridden with Disease still looks retarded. Confused

Yeah, dude's not good about responding to anything. I have tried e-mailing a couple times about his releases (existing or upcoming) and never heard anything back.

I've spoke with urban at the nasum very last gig and at that time (dec. 2004) he didn't care about crematory or death metal, I was very disappointed.
in the interview he made for nicola costantini's book he told that he and joppe had plans of re-releasing the old stuff... hope will happen someday

If he owns the originals he forgot to put that last song from Netherworlds of the Mind on there. Awesome that someone would pay that much for a bootleg and not get all the material.

Alright so here's somewhat of an update...

I managed to get a hold of "Sleazy Roy" from Necroharmonic about him doing this release. He seemed offended that I asked him if I could help with Crematory or possibly take over the project.

He said that he's still planning on doing it, but has been waiting for one of the other band members to finish the layout. This has been five years in the making though...

He's set on just doing a CD release, but I suggested that I would be interested in doing a double LP version along with.

We'll see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted. Confused

Huh. Well I hope if nothing else you lit a fire under the guy. It would definitely be great to see on both CD and vinyl though - maybe he'll work with you on that.

The same thing happened to me and it took a few weeks to get sorted out, but I ultimately got the right inlay. He also sent me the wrong Shub Niggurath CD (one I already had) and the one I wanted ended up being out of stock, so I ended up getting Moondark. He was pretty good about it aside from being slow. I kept asking him to give me an address to send the wrong insert and extra CD back to (since they say they check their P.O. box rarely) and he never did. Eventually I ended up trading the extra Shub Niggurath CD away.

So Urban from Crematory has been writing me quite a bit and is really excited about a vinyl version of all of their stuff. He said that Necroharmonic has no plans to do vinyl whatsoever. So hopefully if all of this works out, I might be able to do the vinyl version separate from Roy's CD.

I actually did help speed things up, because I guess it's the bass player who has been lagging on sending out the layout to Roy. Let's see if it works out. I'm excited for this release.
