Was at a friend's this weekend and we took the chance to stroll through some second hand record shops in Flensburg. Among others I got Burzum's debut CD on DSP. Since I have neither cared that much about Burzum nor pressing infos in the past I'm quite puzzled now if this is a first press, later one or just a plain bootleg.

Only know that there's something about different addresses (band or VOW) on the back cover and the matrix of course. Well, this one has the band address and the matrix is Anti Mosh 002. No Dureco addition as with later DSP presses. Any help figuring out what's the deal with this is appreciated. Thank you!

Btw, the CD is hereby up for sale. If interested pm me an offer. VG condition over all. Disc with a few hairlines. NO skipping though. Booklet slightly creased and with one pressure mark from the jewel case.

That's the very 1st CD press. Later editions came with the VOW info & minus Varg's address.

Thank you, Darragh. What price does this CD usually fetch?

And btw, when's your shop up and running again? Was about to place an order for the Witchrist demoN the other day, but y'know "Please check backshortly"...

I have the same CD, the only difference is the pic of Varg, which is a tad darker. And the matrix says DURECO [01] ANTIMOSH 002.

But on the backinlay, there is the same Burzum and DSP address. No VoW anywhere.

Same on my copy. And I know for sure that it's not a bootleg or a mix-up.

There are two versions of first pressing CD. First one has NO Voices of Wonder address in the back, just Varg's address and matrix code on the disc is ANTI MOSH 002. This one is limited to 300 copies. Second version has also VOW address in the back and matrix code DURECO [01] ANTI MOSH 002. Both versions have been released in 1992. Both version inserts DO NOT contain lyrics, just pictures of Varg and recording information. There are some minor graphic differences between versions (brightness and quality of the pressing).

Then there is one more version, cause so many mixes like people posted above are not plausible.

There is a bootleg floating around with the same matrix-code. Atleast that's what I heard from some CD-collectors.

And I know for a fact, that mine is not a mix-up. Got it from a friend who bought it when it was released.

Dureco was the name of a Norwegian CD-press factory, where a lot of CDs were pressed in early 90es (like the Gorgoroth debut on Embassy).

EDIT: Matrix code of that one is DURECO TE01

As far as I remember my first press of Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times is also from Dureco .
