I've never the movie. It looks pretty cheesy, but it can't be as bad as Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare!

It's made quite competently, despite shabby SFX; good editing, pacing, somewhat decent acting for the most part. The lead actor looks like Joel Grind, and I would like to think that his high school experience was pretty close to this; except instead of being haunted by ol' Sammi it was probably Kurt Struebing or something.

But yeah, its a really light weight studio backed 80's comedy/horror film with a decent cast, so its definitely not a shitfest like Rock N Roll Nightmare. So obviously, RnR Nightmare rules that much more. Twisted Evil

This move rules!
Classic cheese at its best!

Love the soundtrack too. Had the CD of it for years. Heavy and catchy
I never would have heard of Fastway if it weren't for this movie. Possibly the only songs I enjoy from them, since their other stuff is rather boring.

When the mom goes into Eddie's room with the laundry and she looks at the LPs - 'Killing is my Business', 'Unveiling the Wicked', 'Rise of the Mutants (I think) and when the camera backs up you can see 'Seven Churches' on the side of the furniture. Hell yeah \m/

Anyone notice how Sami Curr has a heavy influence from Vince Neil Live Wire era? From stage gear to soundtrack cover -l-

"Rock'n'Roll Nightmare" is one of my fave b-movies ever. I could watch it 10 times in a row without getting bored. But then again, I'm also a total sucker for just about everything that Thor has ever done (except the godawful "Intercessor: Another Rock'n'Roll Nightmare"), so for me to see Thor on the screen performing cheesy rock songs or battling evil latex monsters is already enough to make that flick a classic. Wink

Has anyone of you seen "Shock 'Em Dead" with Traci Lords? That's probably my fave haevy metal horror flick ever. It's so dull and stupid, but on the other hand also helluva funny. It's about a total loser who sells his soul to the devil to become the best guitarplayer in the world. His wish is fulfilled, but from the moment the pact is sealed, he can't eat any normal food anymore but has to feast on the souls of the living... it's really hilarious!! Wink

Yeah! He's got some cool ass records laying around. Y'know when I saw the movie for the first time I don't think I was aware of who Possessed were, but now that you mention it, I do remember seeing that cover.
