PS I'm on the hunt for good podcasts concerning music in general, not just metal, if anyone here has recs

**Edit: I wrote this whole list and only after hitting "Submit" realized you were asking for music specific podcasts. In that case, perhaps "U Talkin U2 2 Me"?

- No Agenda, the only podcast I drop everything else to listen to
- Hardcore History with Dan Carlin, history presented in an interesting format (IMO), check SoulSeek for back episodes.
- How Did This Get Made, extremely entertaining, although over time they've fallen into the "offended by everything" camp. I went to the live tapings for Face/Off and Con Air, definitely worth attending a live show if they're in your area
- Raised by TV
- HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast, which ran out of Lovecraft stories to cover back in 2013 and is now just a general weird fiction podcast

Also, I found "THE SYLVESTER STALLONE SHOW" to be an incredibly good, and unique idea for a podcast.

For metal, mainly Hellcast, Toilet ov Hell, and the Illogical Contraption shows (IllCon, Death Metal Dads, Nights After Dark, etc.). For other stuff, mainly Dan Carlin's shows (Hardcore History and Common Sense).

my best friend and i have recently resurrected our music podcast after a couple year hiatus. it's generally centered around metal, but we do also occasionally talk about other styles of music that we enjoy; rock, ambient, drone, etc. expect a wide range of music to be covered, including things you may not care for.

there is a large emphasis on collecting physical formats of music as well. when we discuss a band's album we'll go into the details of which label put it out, pressing numbers, sound quality, vinyl colors, and all that other stuff like-minded nerds enjoy.

episodes are sent via email, so if anyone is interested and would like to join our mailing list, please see this page:

instagram link is at the bottom of this page for those that like to partake in that sort of thing.

I was very sorry to hear William Berger had died. No more new episodes of my favourite radio show.
