It sounds like throw away riffs from Testimony of the Ancients with piss poor vocals, and awful sounding triggered drums.

I got that same feeling.

Not horrible but still boring.

this is exactly what I thought after listening to this track !
I didn't have high expecttions for this "resurrection" so, I am not really disappointed.
This track sounds as a modern version of the "testimony of the ancients" era yet not as greatly inspired unfortunately.
If the other songs of this upcoming album are in this way, it will be a quite mediocre stuff.

Better than imagined, but nothing special at all. Especially a full-length would bore me to death.

I'll stick to my demo bootleg vinyl, the ONLY real stuff of Pestilence you need... Razz

What Consuming Impulse is a masterpiece

I love Pestilence up to Testimony of the Ancients, and I even like Spheres if I'm in the right mood, but I don't even feel like I NEED to listen to this track. I fail to see the point in pausing the music on my stereo to hear something that is almost certainly going to be crap.

Thats a fair summary, It definitley has the testimony guitar sound, aside from that it does sound boring.
